• Sundance Film Festival: Asia

Sundance Film Festival, established in 1981, has  recently expanded into Asia, holding the Sundance Film Festival: Asia in countries such as Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Taiwan. The festival is dedicated to discovering, supporting, and connecting the Asian independent film community. It also hosts a short film competition, providing a platform for emerging talents to engage with an international audience. The 2024 Sundance Film Festival: Asia will be held from August 21 to 25, 2024. Sundance volunteers are crucial and highly appreciated, offering support for on-site events, film screenings, and the hHospitality team throughout the film festival.

We are looking for two volunteer team members:

• Theater & Event Team
• Hospitality Team

These teams will assist in the preparation and operation of the festival, with different tasks and shifts. Simply fill out the online application form and participate in the interview and training, and you will have the opportunity to become a volunteer for this year’s festival and enjoy related volunteer benefits.

• Sign Up Method and Dates

Please fill out the online application form to complete your registration. Registration opens until 23:59 on July 7. You can only apply for one team alone. After completing the registration, please wait for the interview notification. Interviews will be conducted from July 12 to 14. In addition to shifts, volunteers must attend the orientation and related training courses.

➤ Theater & Event Team

Work Period: August 12 to August 25, 2024, shift-based

Special Requirements: Service experience, good communication and coordination skills, and patience

Work Content: Participate in training, theater and events on-site support.

Number of People Needed: 20-25

➤ Hospitality Team

Work Period: August 18 to August 25, 2024, shift-based

Special Requirements: English communication skills and living experience in the Greater Taipei area; familiarity with film festivals and proficiency in a second foreign language is a plus

Work Content: Participate in orientations to understand film festival hospitality work, provide support to filmmakers with their schedules and local life guides, and handle miscellaneous tasks
